Reminder to all students, there will be no schedule changes until Thursday January 8th. At that time forms will be available in the curriculum office before school, after school and at lunch. Counselors will notify you if your schedule has been changed, please do not submit multiple forms.

LPF Testout information: There will be a mandatory practice session on Wednesday at lunch in the upper gym for any student taking the FULL LPF testout on Saturday Jan. 10. Please bring your registration form. The written LPF Testout will be held at 10:30am on Thursday in room G214. See your counselor to sign up.



The school store needs volunteers. Please contact Kelley Mills if interested kmills@gci.net

Are you interested in getting .5 elective credit for doing community service? There are many things you can do around town that would count, like volunteering at an elementary school, the Imaginarium or the zoo. Would you also like to work on a political campaign, Bean's Cafe or Kids' Kitchen? All of these things and many more will qualify. Please go talk to Ms Kole in room F112 for more information. If you've been working on your hours, make sure you check in as well to get them recorded!



Senior parents, please join us for a Financial Aid/ FAFSA Workshop January 8th, 6-8pm in the Library. This is the 4th session of our parent nights! Did you know that the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA opens on January 1st for seniors who are thinking of pursuing higher education (college, vocational, technical schools)? This application allows you to qualify for Federal grants and loans, which will assist with their education after high school, and it is also the official application for the Alaska Performance Scholarship. During the FAFSA workshop, we will briefly review the FAFSA application then dive straight to filling out the application! Please bring your family’s 2013 income tax return, your social security number (memorize your number)and if you have a personal laptop please bring it as we have limited computers available. We will also talk about financial aid in general and how to apply yourselves to scholarships!
